• One of the worlds leading investment banks are looking to expand their electronic trading capacity within AsiaPac a set up a new development team using .NET and Java based technologies.

• My client require an experienced developer who can build and grow a small, specialist team while hands-on designing, building and delivering a complex multithreaded E-Trading system in C# and core Java. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to take control of their career and prove themselves within a highly visible project in a leading investment bank.

• Those applying will need to demonstrate and excellent knowledge of either core Java (NOT J2EE) or C# .NET design and development – This should include strong multithreading, modern design patterns, appreciation of latency issues and a background of delivering volume intensive systems.

• To apply for this role you must have a minimum 5 years commercial Java or C# .NET experience combined with previous experience in leading and directing a team. You must have at least 2 years experience from within a product aligned area of an investment bank – ideally from the front office. Experience with FX or Electronic trading is highly beneficial but not essential.

• This is a huge chance for someone to build and lead a team delivering a new electronic trading system for the FX market and requires excellent communication skills as you will deal directly with the business.
