Roles & Responsibilities
•
Network and system management of systems housed within Data Centres which encompasses performance monitoring and management, fault management, incident management, troubleshooting of recurring issues, and configuration of change management. Undertaking the implementation, testing of applications and evaluation of products and solutions. Ensuring that all networks, systems, security and application infrastructure are running efficiently. Managing third party vendors and to ensure that the completed works supplied by the vendors are up to the required standards and can meet users’ needs. Planning, implementation, maintenance and controlling the LAN and WAN infrastructure and data centres. Responding to reports of faults and liaise with HelpDesk and vendors to handle and resolve problems encountered with the systems and network. Assisting the users to test system enhancements and changes. Involving in-depth troubleshooting and analysis of network, system, J2EE application and database failures or recurring incidents, as well as management of systems and network integration plan. Monitoring performance of network infrastructure to plan for future upgrades. Providing policy inputs with regard to systems and network management. Providing technical support to the network operations. Providing relevant reports (service level of the systems, performance of vendors etc) on a periodic basis.

Applicants should be Singaporean Citizen or Permanent Resident.
•
University degree or minimum diploma in Computer Science/ Electrical & Electronic Engineering / equivalent with Certification and proven experience in network administration. Experience in maintaining WAN/LAN network, enabling system backup and recovery while maintaining system security.

Experience in configuration and troubleshooting for routers, switches in an enterprise environment. Possesses CCNA certification. Experience working in data centre environment.
•
Relevant professional certifications like MCSA and ITIL.
