• This position will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day support of our internal Wide Area Network and Local Area Network. Responsibilities will include internal consulting, technical guidance and support of Wide and Local Area Networks. In addition, this position will also be engaged in the implementation of network infrastructure related projects

• Will be responsible to troubleshoot and resolve network problems. Have the ability to quickly identify and resolve problems stemming from network congestion, network collisions and other network abnormalities. Will be required to monitor, meet and report on Service Level Agreements. Implement and manage network policies and standards.

• Bachelor's or undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience is required. Professional certification (e.g., Cisco, Checkpoint, Riverbed, etc.) a plus.

• Possess good knowledge of TCP/IP, Cisco IOS commands and strong troubleshooting techniques, etc.

• Experience with supporting, troubleshooting and implementation of Riverbed, Checkpoint, Cisco and 3Com products. Good knowledge of network infrastructure basics (routing protocols like OSPF and BGP, WAN, LAN, Firewall/PIX, DNS/DHCP/SMTP/SNMP and general problem troubleshooting).

• Ability to interface with all levels in a customer organization. Good verbal & written communication skills.
